29 may - 3 june 2017 - XVII Games of the small States of Europe
From 29 May to 3 June 2017 the Republic of San Marino returns to host the Games of the small States of Europe. The competition was organized for the first time by the National Olympic Committee of San Marino in 1985.
Their purpose is to give once again an extraordinary event, as happened in the previous two editions. To this end, the organizing committee "San Marino 2017" is at work to prepare everything in detail.
The sports disciplines will be in total 13: archery, athletics, basketball, volleyball, beach volley, petanque, cycling, judo, shooting, swimming, table tennis and tennis for a total of 143 events.
San Marino is ready to welcome 7 countries: Andorra, Cyprus, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta and Monaco which have already participated in the previous editions and Montenegro which will participate for the first time.
