Panathlon International took part in the FIMBA World Championships 2025 in Ticino (June 27 – July 6), represented by First Vice President Stefano Giulieri and Jorge Minuto, President of the Argentine District, who also took part as a player.
The event falls within the framework of the collaboration between Panathlon and FIMBA, formalized by a Memorandum of Understanding signed in June 2024.
FIMBA, founded in Argentina in 1991, promotes Maxibasket worldwide, encouraging sports participation even at an older age.
The 2025 edition stood out for its high technical level and the participation of many former professionals, showing that passion for basketball knows no age. Beyond the athletic aspect, the tournament served as a moment of cultural exchange and promotion of the values of friendship, respect, and integration among nations.
