Panathlon Club Ravenna - Orienteering Culturale. Quattrocento studenti a caccia di storia

Il panathlon Club di Ravenna ha organizzato lo scorso 20 ottobre, la quindicesima edizione dell’Orienteering Culturale, riservato a scuole elementari, medie inferiori e superiori della regione Emilia Romagna.

Si sono presentati oltre quattrocento studenti, in rappresentanza di una quarantina di istituti scolastici da Parma a Riccione suddivisi poi in circa 70 squadre, che hanno animato per quasi due ore il centro storico alla ricerca delle "14 lanterne" previste, rispondendo contemporaneamente a quesiti sui monumenti e sulla storia ravennati. 

Alla premiazione sono intervenuti l'assessore comunale allo sport Costantini, il dirigente dell'Ufficio scolastico provinciale Bernardi e il presidente del Panathlon Rossi.

Panathlon Club Cuneo - La mia vita da campione paralimpico: Diego Colombari

Il Panathlon Club di Cuneo ha tenuto il consueto incontro conviviale lo scorso giovedì 19 ottobre, presso il Ristorante "Locanda da Peiu".

L'ospite eccezionale della serata è stato il campione paralimpico Diego Colombari, già insignito dal Sodalizio nel 2021 del premio "Fair Play", che ha avuto modo di raccontare le sua storia e la sua vita da campione.

Presenti al tavolo della presidenza Valter Fantino (Assessore allo sport del Comune di Cuneo), Raffaella Gramaglia (Vice Presidente vicario di "Donne per la Granda"), Ezio Tino (Presidente del Panathlon Club di Mondovì e delegato CONI per la zona di Mondovì) e Bruno De Stefanis (fisioterapista di Diego Colombari, Socio del Centro BDQ di Madonna dell'Olmo - Cuneo).

La serata, condotta dal Presidente del Club cuneese Giovanni Mellano, è stata un successo sia per il numero che per il coinvolgimento dei partecipanti.

Diego Colombari ha raccontato la sua storia, che ha avuto momenti di intensa partecipazione emotiva, con sincerità e coraggio: una vita dove un incidente ha cambiato il tutto di una persona, ma il coraggio ha avuto ragione sulla dura realtà.

Bruno De Stefanis ha poi sottolineato quanto interventi fisioterapici appropriati ed adeguati possano essere d'aiuto ad uno sportivo così particolare quale è Diego Colombari.

Numerose le domande dei presenti che hanno preceduto la consegna dei ricordi della serata agli intervenuti.

Panathlon Club du Val d’Aoste - Consegnato a Franco Collé il Premio Panathlon 2023 - Renato Godio

Il campione gressonaro è stato premiato nell’anno in cui ha vinto il quarto Tor des Géants della Carriera. «Un riconoscimento che va oltre il risultato sportivo e che vuole premiare Franco per le sue doti umane, unite ai principi che rientrano tra quelli sostenuti dal Panathlon e dal Fair Play – scrive il Panathlon Club du Val d’Aoste su Facebook.

3rd Transnational Project Meeting of Sport Against Match-Fixing Consortium in Vilnius, Lithuania

Panathlon International is one of the Partners of the Consortium that is working on the Erasmus+ Project, Sport Against Match-Fixing (SAMF) which is a funded by the EU.

As part of the Project Agreement, the Partners gathered in Vilnius (Lithuania) from 28th of September to 30th of September for the third transnational project meeting (TPM).

On the 28th of September the Partners were welcomed by the Lithuania Football Federation (LFF), who organized the session, the hotel, as well as the meeting auditorium. After a warm welcome by the LFF, Sport Evolution Alliance (SEA) presented the SAMF Project to all of the present participants in the room. Apart from the Consortium Partners, the Ambassadors nominated by all Partners also travelled and participated to this meeting.

One of the key objectives of this meeting was to form and educate the Ambassadors, as they were chosen by the respective Partners. These Ambassadors will have to perform three Multiplier Sport Events (with minimum of 30 Athletes and duration of 1 hour). In total, Panathlon International had to nominate three Ambassadors and all of them will, with the help of Panathlon International, have to perform three events. Panathlon International’s Ambassadors are: Barbara Rossi (Panathlon Club Pesaro, Italy), Gwenda Stevens (Panathlon EU Brussels, Belgium) and Reinhard Seigner (Panathlon Club Graz, Austria).

After SEA’s presentation, all Ambassadors were asked to present themselves and explain their relation to sports, which was followed by a presentation of all of the deliverables that have been concluded so far, especially:

During these presentations, different questions were presented by the Ambassadors and which led to interesting debates and discussions by all of the participants.

After the presentation of all of the deliverables that have been produced, a Kahoot Game was done, which was oriented to the Match-Fixing topic and also to the previous points that were represented and all Participants took part in the Kahoot Game, which resulted in a very relaxing and funny moment for all of the participants.

The 28th of September was concluded with a tour guide through the old town of Vilnius, which was followed by a Dinner, organized by the LFF.

On the 29th of September, the Partners gathered in the early morning to proceed with the Sustainability activity, which is already an integral part of these meeting: planting trees to reduce the carbon footprint that all Partners leave by having to travel by plane. This activity is always a great opportunity for all of the Partners to come together and collectively contribute to the enhancement of their ecological footprint.

After this activity, the Partners met back at the Auditorium to discuss the Final Conference in Lisbon, which is scheduled to occur in April 2024. During this presentation it was stressed out by the Portuguese Football Federation (Coordinating Partner of the Consortium) that this Final Conference will be attended by international renown Stakeholders (e.g. UEFA, Political Authorities, etc.) and therefore requested all the Partners to suggest renown international Stakeholders, that are related to this topic and that can contribute to the elevation and dissemination of this Project.

Representing Panathlon International, Patrick Van Campenhout and Fábio Figueiras also participated in this meetings and actively contributed to the different discussions that were held during the day. It is important to mention, that Simona Callo, Monica Rossi, Patrick Van Campenhout and Fábio Figueiras have been actively working on SAMF by contributing to the different deliverables that have been agreed in the Project Agreement (amongst others, Toolkit elaboration, Focus Group organisation and conduction, different translations of Comic Book, Toolkits, Poster and other materials) and by also participating in the monthly online meetings of the Consortium.

PCU Expo in Rome 

An exhibition of the winning drawings and photos of the 2022 PCU Contest took place in Rome during the 2022 Women’s Sport Award organized by Panathlon Club Roma on October 11. 

The works of the PCU Drawing and Photo Contests winners were exposed at the exclusive venue of the Armed Forces Officers Club Of Italy. 

For the second consecutive year, Alina Baranova (PCU Committe’s General Communication Manager) was welcomed by the President of Panathlon Club Roma, Walter Borghino, for attending such a prestigious kermesse, which aims to boost the participation and involvement of women in the world of sport and to highlight the results achieved by them in every role and at all levels. 

On the occasion of the event, Alina Baranova also met the Italian modern pentathlete Elena Micheli (Tokyo 2020 Olympian and 2023 and 2022 World Championships winner), who was awarded the 2022 Women’s Sport Award – Athletes Category, the Rio 2016 Olympian Pier Paolo Petroni, and the President of Panathlon Club Junior Roma, Lorenzo D’Ilario.   

Panathlon Club di Roma: 24ª edizione del Premio Donna Sport

Il Circolo Ufficiali Forze Armate d'Italia ha ospitato la 24ª edizione del Premio Donna Sport, organizzato dal Panathlon International Club di Roma, con il patrocinio di Roma Capitale e CONI Lazio, e il contributo di Banco BPM. 

 A ricevere il prestigioso riconoscimento (Gloria, fusione in bronzo di Pierpaolo e Piergiorgio Ermini) la 24enne romana Elena Micheli, campionessa del mondo in carica di Pentathlon Moderno sia individuale che a squadre e già qualificata per le Olimpiadi di Parigi 2024, il tenente dell'Aeronautica Silvia Marziali, primo arbitro di serie A del basket donna dopo l'esordio di Antonella Fabretti 33 anni fa e poi anche internazionale, e la pioniera della dirigenza femminile Stefania Cardenia, Direttore Regionale Special Olympics Team Lazio. Premio Speciale per la Roma Calcio Femminile campione d'Italia 2022/2023 che non era presente per impegni sportivi della squadra e che sarà consegnato successivamente. 

 «Siamo orgogliosi di aver dato continuità all'evento anche quest'anno – afferma il Presidente del Panathlon International Club di Roma Walter Borghino – considerando che è il fiore all'occhiello del nostro club. Abbiamo ricevuto grande attenzione da parte delle amministrazioni pubbliche locali, sia politiche che sportive, per questo premio che rappresenta ormai un punto di riferimento per la stessa città di Roma. In una location fantastica e di tradizione storica, premiamo stasera tre personalità di grande profilo sportivo ed umano, che danno continuità alle oltre 100 donne che le hanno precedute, dalla prima edizione del 1990».
