Doppio impegno di fine estate per il Panathlon Club Valdarno Superiore che dopo la giornata #BeActive ha preso parte attiva alle Feste dello Sport organizzate dai Comuni di Montevarchi e Figline e Incisa V.no, portando gli ideali panathletici negli appuntamenti principali per i giovani atleti e le principali società sportive valdarnesi.
In occasione della Settimana Europea dello Sport che vede la collaborazione tra Unione Europea e Rappresentanza permanente Panathlon International presso il Parlamento Europeo nella promozione e diffusione di corretti stili di vita, il Club service del Presidente Siro Pasquini ha svolto un'intensa attività promozionale con l'allestimento di stand nell'ambito delle Feste dello Sport dove è stato possibile incontrare moltissimi giovani atleti, le loro famiglie e dirigenti ed allenatori delle società sportive, diffondendo i valori del Fair Play e della correttezza sportiva nello sport e l'adozione di corretti stili di vita, come fonte di promozione di benessere fisico, psichico e anche sociale.

The accredited Panathlon Clubs are called to express through their Referents their ranking of the most deserving videos of the prizes, that will be delivered in Milan on November 12th during the award ceremony of the Festival that celebrates its 40th edition.

Celebrazione del 70mo anniversario dalla fondazione del Panathlon Vicenza
La celebrazione del 70mo anniversario dalla fondazione del Panathlon Vicenza, non poteva avere una cornice migliore della Terrazza Palladiana. Serata ancora dalla temperatura straordinariamente estiva, presentata da Marco Meletti, ha visto un parterre degno degli eventi più prestigiosi, con Autorità, atleti, società sportive, rappresentanti del CONI e vertici del Panathlon Italia guidati dal Presidente Giorgio Costa, dal Governatore dell'Area1 Franco Falco e da Giorgio Chinellato, membro del Consiglio International. Tra le società sportive presenti, la Rangers Rugby Vicenza, Vicenza Volley, la Pallanuoto Vicenza, U.S. Torri Pallamano, A.S. Vicenza e Pallacanestro Vicenza 2012. Onori di casa del Sindaco Giacomo Possamai con l'Assessore allo Sport del Comune Leone Zilio. Presenti il Questore di Vicenza, Dott. Paolo Sartori, il Presidente della Provincia Andrea Nardin e il Consigliere Regionale Milena Cecchetto. Per il settore media, oltre al Direttore Generale di TVA Francesco Nicoli e SPORTvicentino, presente "Il Giornale di Vicenza" con il suo Direttore Marino Smiderle e il caposervizi sportivo Eugenio Marzotto.
Nel corso dell’evento è stato presentato il volume celebrativo del 70mo anniversario del Club, realizzato in collaborazione con Il Giornale di Vicenza. Un volume di 240 pagine in cui si fondono emozioni e ricordi, per celebrare lo sport e gli sportivi vicentini e l’instancabile attività di un’associazione speciale. Tra gli ospiti legati al libro, anche la Contessa Marzotto, già moglie del primo presidente del Club, il Conte Paolo Marzotto, che del volume è stata una grande sostenitrice. Grande successo per questa nostra realtà, sempre più protagonista nel mondo dello sport vicentino!

Panamerican Congress - Guayaquil Ecuador 5th October 2023
The 15th Pan-American Congress entitled 'El deporte es más que ganar o perder' began on Thursday, 5 October at the 'Oro Verde' hotel, in the presence of more than 100 delegates.
It was an excellent opportunity to strengthen the excellent relations of collaboration between the members of the Panathletic movement of Europe and America, but also to deepen current topics of the world of sport and to agree on further actions to guide the growth of Panathlon International.
The Congress program included a series of talks by experts in the field, covering a wide range of topics related to Olympism and the Panathletic movement.
The Panathletic Congress in Guayaquil was a successful event, with the participation of numerous foreign and local representatives, including President Zappelli and International Board members.
The organisers arranged a series of social, cultural and artistic activities, as well as tourist visits, to make the participants' experience even richer.

PI institutional meetings - Meeting of the district presidents' committee
The PI institutional meetings continued: on 4 October, the District Presidents' Committee meeting was held at the Bankers Club. All district presidents or delegates were present, with only District President Austria Joseph Muller and Treasurer Stefano Giulieri remotely connected. The meeting was opened by International President Pierre Zappelli who, after thanking Ecuador District President Luis Danilo Carrera for the organisation and welcome, congratulated him on the large attendance and participation and explained the IB's decision to set up the Ethics Commission for the adoption of a code of ethics to be approved at the General Assembly. He then passed the floor to Secretary General Simona Callo for an update on the activities of the General Secretariat, who welcomed the new President of the Argentine District Jorge Minuto. Then IB member Luis Moreno took the floor to explain the development of the Plan de Desarollo, followed by Treasurer Stefano Giulieri to discuss the organisation of the District Presidents Committee meetings with a view to saving management and finding resources. The District Presidents, after a summary discussion of all the activity reports, drew up a final document that was submitted to the international board that joined the committee and will be available in the coming days.
